An authentic and very rare helmet. Dated 1950 s. Weatherproof helmet, called Pelerina, because of it's shoulder covering style pelerine - cape. Used by Soviet navy sailors while being on watch on the upper deck of the battleship, while heavy gales or storms conditions were present. Steeped with plastic top. Cotton lining. Unused condition.
